Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Orlog Tabletop Edition is now available for pre-order

Forget the dual-wielding axes and visit Asgard: For our money, Orlog ranks as the best new addition to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The two-player dice game, which you can play in different cities in the Viking game, now gets an official Assassin’s Creed-branded physical edition – and it supports local multiplayer from day one.

Ubisoft’s Orlog edition, created with the help of collectible coin maker PureArts, includes everything you need to play on your own table: there are two sets of six acrylic dice, two sets of 25 Divine Favor tokens, two sets of 20 Divine Favor cards, 32 polished stone health counters, two durable ABS plastic dice bowls, two divine favor guides, a game piece (so you know whose turn it is) and a game guide.

If you haven’t played Orlog (in Valhalla or whatever) it’s a dice fighting game that almost looks like a Nordic version of Magic: The Gathering. Players take turns rolling dice that have different symbols on each side for attack, defense, and to steal an opponent’s wealth. Players can call on the favor of the gods to tip the scales, but whoever loses all of their health first loses the game.

Here’s a video that helps explain the game, while also showcasing the next physical edition:

Preorders are now open for the Orlog table edition, and Ubisoft believes they will ship in time for Yuletide.
