Content Creators Receive Cryptic Battlefield 2021 Teasers

The latest installment in EA and DICE‘s legendary FPS is set to release this year, and with rumors and leaks sparking excitement, here’s everything we know about Battlefield 2021.

The franchise has remained fairly calm since the release of Battlefield V in 2018, but it remains one of the most popular FPS titles out there. The series acts as the perfect alternative to Call of Duty’s close combat, bringing massive battles fought to vast locations throughout history.

After the disappointing reception of Firestorm’s Battle Royale mode, EA and DICE didn’t release a new game in 2020, but with confirmation at EA Play that Battlefield 6 was in the works for 2021, anticipation immediately began to build. .

Unsurprisingly, leaks and rumors are flooding the internet, with fans desperate for all possible information about the upcoming release. From the game’s setting to the timeline it’s set in, and even a potential release date, here’s everything we know about Battlefield 6.

Battlefield 6 release date

Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact release date for Battlefield 6 yet, but during a call to investors EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that they plan to reveal the game “in the spring.” then “to offer the decisive Battlefield experience in holiday season 2021. “

Most Battlefield games release in October or November, but given that a lot of game developers are currently working from home, it’s possible that this will push that timeline back a bit. During its May 11 call for results, EA confirmed that Battlefield 6 is on track to release in 2021.

According to DICE in April, the game was in “daily play test mode,” focusing on “polishing and balancing as they try to create the best possible battlefield.”

Battlefield 6 reveal date

A tweet from the official Battlefield Twitter page informed the world of the key date of the expected Battlefield reveal – June 9.

To tempt the taste buds ahead of his reveal, content creator JackFrags posted a cryptic image on his social media that he personally shared by the Battlefield team.

It then became common knowledge that many other personalities had received similar messages, with each version of the image being slightly different and exposing random words. The idea was to share them on social media so the community could solve the puzzle to show the message.

It was finally completed, and here is the post in full by:

However, according to the famous leaker Tom henderson, the game actually leaked early with several screenshots revealed on social media.

Tom confirmed their authenticity by saying, “They are real”, and it is not known if this will affect the official launch of the game.

When will Battlefield 6 be defined?

There have been a lot of rumors about when Battlefield 6 will be set, but most agree that we’ll likely end up in a modern day alternative reality.

According to famous leaker Tom Henderson, the game will take place “in about 10 years”, so that the developers can “implement weapons and vehicles that are currently in military development today”.

One of those futuristic weapons is the robot fighting dog that Henderson drew a drawing of. These are used by the military today, but may be even more powerful in the near future of Battlefield 6.

Where will Battlefield 6 take place?

As to where we are going, that also remains a closely guarded secret. Henderson has started releasing alleged information from the game’s first teaser, sharing drawings of what it will look like. One of the most detailed drawings is taken from the perspective of a pilot flying towards a space station surrounded by trees.

Another drawing showed that location zoomed out, the leaker then sharing a link to Google Earth, revealing that the space station appears to be the Tanegashima Space Center in Japan.

Since this photo was posted by Henderson, screenshots believed to be from the reveal trailer have surfaced online. It appears to be the same image Henderson shot, but he said it was likely an early build of the trailer.

Will Battlefield 6 have a battle royale?

All signs indicate Yes. In a leak posted to the Battlefield 6 subreddit, it was claimed that the game will have a free battle royale in March 2022 after DICE tested the waters with Firestorm in 2019.

Tom Henderson has also discussed a Battlefield battle royale in his livestreams, where he said he believes DICE will release a battle royale midway through 2022, which will rival CoD audiences.

The appetite for a battle royale is certainly there, with popular streamer Dr Disrespect clearly excited by the prospect, but we’re still awaiting official confirmation from the developers.

Battlefield 5 Firestorm

Will Battlefield 6 be on PS4 and Xbox One?

Yes! During a call to investors on May 11, EA boss Andrew Wilson said that “Battlefield will be available for both the current generation and the next generation.”

After DICE said the game would “bring to life” with the “power” of next-gen consoles, many speculated that the game would only be released on Xbox Series X | S and PS5, but we now know that isn’t. is no longer the case.

Keep in mind that the game was designed for next-gen consoles, so expect Battlefield 6 for PS4 and Xbox One to be a lite version, similar to the release of Battlefield 4 on PS3 and PS4.

Battlefield 4 Campaign

In a statement to GameSpot In May 2020, EA confirmed that they would release the game on new consoles with the goal of targeting “new innovation that will be enabled by next-gen platforms.”

This is the main reason why EA and DICE decided not to release Battlefield games in 2020, as the number of people who would have had a PS5 or an Xbox Series X would still be small compared to what it will be. year later.

That’s all we know about Battlefield 2021! Once the official reveal takes place in June, we’ll definitely know more about the next installment in the shooting franchise.
