To which Salah responded by saying, “Oh down.” His response sparked laughter from the BT panel before they realized he was serious.
Salah went on to explain, “Yeah. I have high expectations for myself. Honestly, I never said this but before the start of the season, I’m going for 40 goals this season and 15 assists.
“I have to focus on the goals now! Thirty [Alexander-Arnold] going to be angry to have the biggest assist in the Premier League, but I’m going to do everything.
Salah also shed some light on who he would like to face in the Champions League final in Paris at the end of the month.

“I want to play in Madrid, I have to be honest,” Salah told BT Sport. “Manchester City are a really tough team, we’ve played against them a few times this season.
“If you ask me personally, I would prefer Madrid. We lost in the final before against them, I want to play them and I hope we win.
