Wellesley resident celebrates $ 100,000 lottery win

She plans to save some of her earnings for retirement and share it with her grandchildren.

Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Wellesley’s Jacqueline Kube. She matched the last six of the seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the LOTTO 6/49 draw on July 28, 2021 to win $ 100,000! Jacqueline also won $ 2 on another of her ENCORE picks, bringing her total winnings to $ 100,002!

“I play the lottery here and there. I usually play LOTTO 6/49 and always add AGAIN, ”explained Jacqueline while at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto to collect her winnings.

Jacqueline, mother and grandmother, checked her tickets while she was at the convenience store. “I had two tickets to check. I won a free game on the first ticket and the second was the winning ticket. The seller said ‘Congratulations, you won!’ and I was very confused – I thought I won $ 1,000 or $ 5,000! “

Jacqueline, a business owner, plans to save her earnings for retirement, invest, share with her grandchildren and treat herself to a day at the spa.

ENCORE offers 22 ways to win and can be played with most lottery games for an additional $ 1. There is one ENCORE raffle every day.
